Honorary Life Ambassadors
Jenna Clifford: Honorary Life Ambassador
Over the past twenty five years of owning my own business, it is evident that hard work is the foundation of all success. However, being a woman in business hasn’t always been easy and everyone’s journey is different. As a passionate advocate for women empowerment and gender equality, it is my mission to help women in South Africa realise their potential and overcome the gender barriers. On this subject, I would like to share with you some sentiments gathered from my experience, to encourage you and hopefully aid your journey as a woman in business today …
Sue Moodley: Honorary Life Ambassador
Sue Moodley has proven that having a wealthy background is not the only road to success. In fact, 17 years ago, at the tender age of 20, she started Pluminco Trade as a building, plumbing and sanitary wholesaler along with her father. Today, Pluminco Trade is a multi-million rand company, with Sue having multiple properties across the country and commuting between her Johannesburg and Durban offices.
This successful entrepreneur decided to give back, and a way for her to share her knowledge and path to success with others was by entering the Mrs Commonwealth 2017 pageant. Not only did Sue win the Business Award in Mrs Commonwealth South Africa, but she was also crowned the first runner up and as such, was the Ambassador for Mrs Commonwealth South Africa 2017/2018.
