WOS launches ‘OR’ on Mandela Day
When the Cradle of Hope bought the dilapidated house at 40 Nellie Street Krugersdorp, they never anticipated how challenging a project this would be. This is when WOS stepped in and adopted ‘The Bright One’, as the house has now been fondly christened.
We aspire to empower each and every one of the women and children so that they are well equipped for their role in society once they leave the care of The Cradle of Hope.
We encourage them to pay forward the blessing they receive, to make their Pain Their Purpose and to become a beacon of light in their own communities once they are back in society.

The year ended very well for Operation Restoration when Santa came in the form of Scorpion Legal Protection with a R15,000 sponsorship. It brings us a little closer to the re-wiring of the Bright One. This helps to buy the material needed for the job but we are still short of funds to cover the cost of the labour. But we are remaining positive that an electrician will come forward to support the project.
